kat, by Michael OttHi, there, gentle reader. My name is Kat Richardson. I’m a writer and the author of the National Bestselling Greywalker novels. The first in the series, Greywalker–a paranormal detective/urban fantasy–was realeased by Roc in October 2006 and they’ve been favorably compared to the works of Jim Butcher, Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison, Tanya Huff, Charlie Huston, Simon R. Green, and Laurell K. Hamilton (before the sex). You can find a lot more information on my main website: katrichardson.com.

Great series, Kat. I’m loving this character, and especially your writing. “The lawn was still playing dead.” Brilliant!

    Happy New Year

  2. I don’t remember writing that phrase. Isn’t it funny how you can’t remember your own work, sometimes? But I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Thanks for the note!

i just wanted to write and say that i just finished underground and i loved it. i have read all three and i find the characters can really be gotten into. i love the interplay between harper and quinton and between harper and the danzigers. i can’t wait for the next one!
thank you for writting such a wonderful and entertaining book.

  4. thank you! I’m so pleased you liked it and the rest. I’m revising #4 right now and I just approved cover copy for the mass market paperback version of UNDERGROUND, so things are moving ahead.

The Greywalker series is immensely enjoyable! Having lived in Seattle, Sequim, and PA for a while, all the books bring me back – particularly Downpour (makes me look at Lake Crescent a tad differently now!) Hah! Thanks for your wonderful writing and great imagination.
