OK. I finally got time to finish reading MIDNIGHT CROSSROAD by Charlaine Harris. It was amazing–and I loved seeing old friends from other series of hers, too. It starts off fairly light in tone, but underneath it’s dark and twisty and has a chilling ending that won’t leave you alone. If you ever thought her work was “fluffy,” you need to go look again. More proof that Charlaine deserves every bit of her bestseller status.
