Back to “Normal”

So, now that the holidays are over and the manuscript is turned in, my next job was to undecorate the Christmas tree, store the ornaments and lights, clean up, and bring the second chair back down to the library from the guest room. There now: that’s the library made back into a library instead of the “Chambre de Noel”:

Naturally, the dogs had to argue about who got to sit in the new chair:

And Jack didn’t win.

But he’s easy-going about this stuff and has already adopted Bella’s bed in my office as his own. Good luck with that, Jack…

And the page proofs for the mass market edition of POSSESSION are on their way, so… no rest for the wicked. Back to it, I guess. Happy New Year, y’all!

    Happy New Year Kat.

    That second picture is hilarious

  3. I love it! And look at Jack…he’s getting so big!

  4. Jack is HUGE! He weighs 34 pounds to Bella’s 55 now and he’s only 6 months old.

  5. Jeremy says:

My Black lab is about 75-80 pounds he is 3 years old full grown. He isn’t fat by any means either a very lean water dog is he.

  6. The folks at the Shelter said Jack would probably 70 pounds. But he’s a mix and we don’t know what Daddy was, so he’s bidding fair to be 80 at this point without being overweight. I hope to get him into some training soon, as he’s been very neglected in that respect, between his injury and my writing schedule, things got put off.

  7. Jeremy says:

He doesn’t look like a mix to me, regardless of the breed though he is a handsome fellow and growing fast.
