Writer’s Block Poetry Bite

Today there is a Writer’s Block question at LJ. The widget doesn’t seem to have an analog here at WordPress but just to be fair, in honor of the govenment’s bite of income, I give you a bite of this “favorite line of poetry”. Being me, of course, I used half a stanza:

There will be time to murder and create,
And time for all the works and days of hands
That lift and drop a question on your plate;
Time for you and time for me,
And time yet for a hundred indecisions,
And for a hundred visions and revisions,
Before the taking of a toast and tea.

  1. Mummy Bear says:

    It’s J. Alfred Prufrock, Kat. Ol’ Mum does know a few things even with only an AA. Love you.

  2. Bleh… I must be too tired to read…
