Look what happened last night at the marina!
Yup, it snowed like the Dickens. About 6 inches, but it’s hard to tell for sure. There was already some snow from Thursday. We went out on Friday to shop for food, propane, and other necessities of being snowed-in aboard, then had to defrost the standpipe to fill one of the water tanks, but we are tucked in like bugs in rugs and probably will stay that way until Boxing Day, since we want to avoid the mess on Christmas–when it’s supposed to warm up to 40 and rain, thus removing all our lovely lovely snow.
Luckily for us, we had a brain-storm while at the hardware store and bought a lot of heat-shrink insulation for the windows so we can see out but stay warm. it’s snowing currently, but only tiny flakes and only a few, but we expect more as the day goes on.
Currently 31.6-degrees F outside with sheets of ice on the surface of the sea water in the marina. Brrr…. but a moderately comfortable 56 and rising inside. All humans and the ferret are doing well and eating like pigs (if you want to see the ferret’s latest pic, go to the New Years resolutions thread on the B&N forum and scroll down.)
Now, back to the revision!
