So, after a half-day of whispering at people at the PNWA kickoff and administrative stuff, I still have only half as much voice as usual (possibly less). But I think all things strange and undone have been taken care of, now. At least I hope so. Except for the voice thing…

I forgot the one photo I did take during the Hyperion party: A group of ladies out for a bachelorette party walked past and got frisky with this Robin and Harley Quinn:

Was a bit of a wreck when I finally got up on Thursday so I could go to my panel. I was supposed to meet Jackie Kessler, Caitlin Kittredge, Diana Rowland, and Sean Speakman for an early breakfast before the ladies had their own panel at 10, but I was too draggy and my [...]

Scene of the (fictional) Crime… Perhaps

So yesterday I did a little location checking and ended up moving an event in the WIP from an anonymous parking lot in Lake City to a much creepier location: the old Seattle Malting and Brewing Company buildings on Airport Way. This site eventually became the original Rainier Brewery before the newer building (which is [...]

Traveling Light Sucks

One annoying thing about the current condition of airlines with their endless fees, mated to long trips is that you have to travel light unless you want to add $50-100 in baggage charges to your trip. This means no piles of fabulous costumes for Dragon*Con, which would be mega fun since they are having a [...]
