Sooo… having got home and caught up to my sleep at last I find there is much else to update.
First off: Piatkus (my UK publisher) recently came under the banner of Little, Brown. I’m actually kind of charmed by Little, Brown but that might be because they are a venerable UK house of literary fame [...]

As you recall, I was on tour a week or so ago. Here’s the triptych:
I began my trip with a plane that was delayed leaving. So, it being a 4:55 p.m. flight orginally, I decided to console myself with a drink in the bar before hand. Which turned into two, but what the hell. [...]

Still really tired after the insanity of running all over the northern coast. Signings at Borderlands and Powell’s Beaverton went very nicely–my hosts Alan and Peter were both fabulous. Got to spend an insufficient amount of time with loony friends from TTLG and more friends from Portland, later. Met new fans and friends [...]

And because some people asked, Yes, I’m signing books around town (and [...]

My bad

I just noticed that I forgot to mention someone in the acknowledgments of Poltergeist. Back in 2004 when I was first getting interested in the topic of the Philip experiments, I got in touch with Sue Darroch of Para-Researchers Of Ontario. I owe her quite a big “thank you”for the e-mail exchanges we had [...]

If you’ve ever wondered why women seem to have difficulty vaulting past a certain level in artistic businesses, take a look at Caitlin Kittredege’s blog entry Backbiting, backstabbing, and poorly punctuated snark (or, why we can’t break the pink ceiling) for a very nice explanation of the phenomenon. Women really need to drop the [...]

I’m getting spolied here….SFRevu has reviewed Poltergeist very nicely, Poltergeist is also listed at Genrefluent–a King County Library page supported by the Genreflecting folks, and I’m told there may be dump bins* for the Greywalker books in some major chain stores. Whoohoo!
And I’m almost done with the travel arrangements for San Francisco and [...]
