according to Amazon.co.uk, Greywalker and Poltergeist will be released there on December 6 2007. Plenty of time for Holiday prezzies (hurray!)

The Continuing Publication Saga

Sooo… having got home and caught up to my sleep at last I find there is much else to update.
First off: Piatkus (my UK publisher) recently came under the banner of Little, Brown. I’m actually kind of charmed by Little, Brown but that might be because they are a venerable UK house of literary fame [...]
Plastic forks, terrorist lip gloss, endless sudoku, and a ghost in the hotel

As you recall, I was on tour a week or so ago. Here’s the triptych:
I began my trip with a plane that was delayed leaving. So, it being a 4:55 p.m. flight orginally, I decided to console myself with a drink in the bar before hand. Which turned into two, but what the hell. [...]

Still really tired after the insanity of running all over the northern coast. Signings at Borderlands and Powell’s Beaverton went very nicely–my hosts Alan and Peter were both fabulous. Got to spend an insufficient amount of time with loony friends from TTLG and more friends from Portland, later. Met new fans and friends [...]

For those of you easily excited about this kind of thing, Greywalker is finally out in traditional Chinese.

Just a quick check in to say I’m in San Jose at the moment and will be moving on to do a book signing in San Francisco on Sunday, I’ll be posting a bigger, better bloggery when I get home on the 22nd. Right now, too much running about and being excited about early numbers… [...]
A Message from a Worshipper!

Or that’s what the spam said. Now, I know that they think I’m stupid enough to click the little URL link that will take me to their den of Spammery–especially if they stroke my ego–but no matter how much my head may swell I really don’t believe there is anyone out there who actually [...]
In which I have a party

The super cool Richelle Mead posted a rather nice blog of my launch party last night so I don’t have to! Hahaha! (And that’s the same glass of champagne in all those pics, though in fact, there was quite a bit of drinking.)
And because some people asked, Yes, I’m signing books around town (and [...]

I just noticed that I forgot to mention someone in the acknowledgments of Poltergeist. Back in 2004 when I was first getting interested in the topic of the Philip experiments, I got in touch with Sue Darroch of Para-Researchers Of Ontario. I owe her quite a big “thank you”for the e-mail exchanges we had [...]
In the Pink (or not so much)

If you’ve ever wondered why women seem to have difficulty vaulting past a certain level in artistic businesses, take a look at Caitlin Kittredege’s blog entry Backbiting, backstabbing, and poorly punctuated snark (or, why we can’t break the pink ceiling) for a very nice explanation of the phenomenon. Women really need to drop the [...]

I’m getting spolied here….SFRevu has reviewed Poltergeist very nicely, Poltergeist is also listed at Genrefluent–a King County Library page supported by the Genreflecting folks, and I’m told there may be dump bins* for the Greywalker books in some major chain stores. Whoohoo!
And I’m almost done with the travel arrangements for San Francisco and [...]

There’s a new review of Poltergeist up at Darque Reviews. Very nice.
